After winning several hearts, Divyanka Tripathi's character of Ishita Bhalla on popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is set to bid adieu to fans. The actress has apprently confirmed the news to Mid-day, saying, "I will be seen dying on the show. It's a great track, so anything for it."
There have also been reports doing the rounds that Divyanka might leave the show after this major twist. Ye Hai Mohabbatein is one of the most watched shows on the Indian television right now. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the show revolves around Divyanka's Ishita, a South Indian woman, who is married to a Punjabi man Raman Bhalla (played by Karan Patel) for his daughter Ruhi.
The mid-day report also stated that Ekta Kapoor is keen to launch a bunch of new faces on the Star Plus' long-running show.
