Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank does not seem too worried about Julio Jones' contract holdout.
Blank expects the receiver to be with the team for the rest of his career, even though he will not be attending training camp as he seeks a restructured contract.
Jones, who is in the second year of a five-year deal worth $71million was informed that the Falcons did not budget for a restructured contract for him this year but was reportedly told the team is willing to work on negotiations next offseason.
"He's going to be a Falcon for life,” Blank said. "I'm convinced of that and so is he. We'll take it from there. But we are all focused on the same thing. I think that we are in good shape.”
Blank added that he will not get involved in negotiations unless asked by coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff
"That's their job and it's my job to support them," said Blank. "If they need help, they'll ask for it. I'm always available to them and they know it."
